Interview Q&A
How long have you been in business?
We have been in business for three years.
What is your primary product or service?
Care giving / Assisted Living for elderly residents in our home. We provide assistance with activities of daily living such as dressing, bathing, grooming, meal preparation and medication management.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
My Great Aunt was like a second mother to me growing up and she did an amazing job caring for myself and my sister. Now I am able to give back to her, at 98 years old she is our oldest and most cherished resident at Country Acres. Because of her I have always had such a love and respect for elderly people. I am constantly amazed at how hard they have worked and what great integrity they have. It saddens me to think of them at home, scared by themselves and in danger of getting hurt because they don't have they assistance that they need and deserve. My family and my staff feel very honored to care for them and to give them back just a little bit of what they have given in their lifetime.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
By the fact that we are Christian and Family owned and operated, this is unique. We put our residents first. By being a smaller facility it allows us to say yes, a lot more than no. We can tailor our activities and policies to our individual residents and their families to make this an satifying experience. We go above and beyond to assist with the transition period. We are able to refer families to real estate agents, contractors, accountants, VA specialists, Medicaid specialist, etc; anything that someone might need to help make the process easier.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We currently have one location and do not plan on expanding in the near future but we are always open to exceptional opportunities when they present themselves.

Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
Jason and Amanda Sackett, husband and wife owns the company and is in charge of daily operations.
What are your hours of operation?
We are opened 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
What is the best compliment anyone can give you?
The best compliment anyone can give us is trusting us to take care of their loved ones and telling us if the time ever comes that they need to be in an assisted living home, there is no where else in the world they would rather be than Country Acres Assisted Living.
What is your favorite quote or Bible verse?
My favorite bible quote is the Golden Rule, "DO UNTO OTHERS AS YOU WOULD HAVE OTHERS DO UNTO YOU." My second favorite quote is 1Corinthians 13:13 And now abideth faith, hope and love, but the greatest of these is love.
